This American Silver Eagle is struck by the West Point U.S. Mint. The first Reverse Proof Silver Eagle to carry the "W" Mint mark and the first Enhanced, or Specimen finish Silver Eagle. The enhanced coin features a combination of finishes, with characteristics found on a frosted proof and a reverse proof, along with a satin finish. The blue field and several stripes of the flag draped around Lady Liberty exhibit a mirrored appearance, while the remaining raised designs are frosted. A satin finish fills the background field areas of the coin. The Reverse Proof boasts frosted fields and mirrored devices making it an exceptional collectible coin.
